Here's the 'Canadian' story, and it's sappy so if you're not into cheese, stop reading... OK, about a year ago my blue eyed sweetheart and I finish a ride at Warrior Creek on an absolutely picture perfect, 65 degree, Carolina Blue Sky day and she's just standing there doing nothing while I gather up and load bikes so I say, "What are you doing?" and she says "I'm so Canadian" and I say "What?" and she says "I'm so Canadian" and I say "What? You're so Canadian??? What the hell does that mean?????" and she says "No.... I said, 'I'm soaking it in'" and I say "I thought you said 'I'm so Canadian'" and we laughed and a seemingly perfect day gets better... so the next time get finished grooving through the curves and the hills and the leaves with good friends on a picture perfect weekend like we just experienced, just think to yourself... "I'm so Canadian".

Thanks to everyone who lets a little sweat drip off the end of their nose into these trails.

I'm So Canadian.

so so you think you can tell heaven from hell ~ blue skies from pain ~ can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail ~ a smile from a veil ~ do you think you can tell ~ and did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts ~ hot ashes for trees ~ hot air for a cool breeze ~ cold comfort for change ~ and did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage ~ how i wish how i wish you were here ~ we're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year running over the same old ground what have we found ~ the same old fears ~ wish you were here
