WHO: Everyone is welcome!

WHAT: BMCC "Snow-Drop" Winter Training Rides
(Snow-Drop = No-Drop + we want NO Snow to Drop!
Okay, I'm not so good with names, we'll be taking submissions for a catchy ride name)

WHERE: Start location will vary - check the forum each week

WHEN: Saturdays at 10:00 or 11:00 depending on weather and route
If Sunday's forecast is much more favorable than Saturday's, the ride may be moved to Sunday

ROUTE: 50 miles (approx.) - Route will vary
Shorter route will be chosen in unusually cold/windy weather
Metric Route will be considered on an exceptionally nice day
Ride will be cancelled during inclement weather/precipitation
Feel free to share your favorite routes

PACE: These are no-drop rides, entire group waits at all turns. We do ask that you be able to maintain a 13-15 mph average over a moderately hilly route for the distance posted.

MAPS: Riders are encouraged to go by the new Wilkes County Visitor's Center and get the Wilkes County Bike Routes map. These routes or portions of them may sometimes be incorporated into the weekly ride.
RAW routes or versions thereof will sometimes be used.
Mapmyride.com is also a great tool for planning and sharing routes.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: An announcement concerning each week's ride will be posted by Thursday evening.
Last minute updates will be posted on Friday evening if needed.
Since winter is approaching, the circumstances for each week will be considered individually in making decisions concerning the ride route and distance.
Be sure to check the forum before making plans to attend the ride.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
