Hey guys, Ive been a lurker here for a while but havent seen any posts about riding IN Boone. I was in a pretty bad car crash a couple years ago and that pretty much stopped my riding,as if 12hr shifts hadnt already taken their toll. Long story short Im trying to start riding a little again and was wanting to start in Boone on some easy stuff, Like campus or surrounding short trails, I have a pretty weird schedule but I would like to have some company while pedaling!

short notice but the plans I had for this afternoon have fallen through, so I am taking the opportunity to go pedal on a.s.u. campus and surrounding area for a little bit, if anybody is around, you are welcome to join.....

Hey Sugar Rider, If you ever come down to Wilkes to ride give me a call. We have about five of us that ride the lake trails at least two times a week. We are beginners our selves so dont worry about speed. 336-452-0833

Thanks Mr Keller! As soon as I get my baby pieced back together Ill be down for a ride.... blown 10y/o rear shock. It disliked my extra weight as much as I do! lol

Have you been to the trails here in Wilkes? We did warrior creek sunday, Kicked our arses but had a blast at the same time. We will me riding sat or sunday again, maybe both, if you get it together and can make it let me know.

I have riden there one time but it has been several years and Im not sure what trails we hit, I was in a class, but I want to come down for sure Ill let you know if I get it back together in time. Its all dependant on shipping at this point...

Ok no problem,

We road darkmountain today, well we road/walked darkmountain today. That trail is a little out of our league at the moment. Like i said, we are newbies at this, still working on getting in shape and learning how to ride.

Perfect! That is just my speed I think. My parts are enroute today from Charlotte so they should be here this afternoon depending on usps<--;P

The Sugar is sweet again! Got the parts this morning and spent the better part of today putting them on and tuning.... Still need drivetrain but think I can go have some fun this weekend as is!

It was great meeting you to Lance. We enjoyed the ride, even though we bonked big time. Maybe next time will be better. We did have a great ride at lake norman, not as fast as our trails but worth the trip.
