Come out and work off some of that Thanksgiving Turkey... Turkeys.

Once again we'll be working on the soon to be super sweet reroute of K3. It's going to take us through some big boulders and small cliffs. It'll be one of the funkier sections at Warrior Creek.

We'll meet at 9:00 at the entrance. We'll work until 12:30 or so then ride.

If you're late try calling 336.957.0211. I may not hear the phone ring because of the Trail Machine but leave a message. We'll guide you in.

As soon as we finish this section in a month or so we'll begin construction of the Marley Ford Overlook trail at Warrior Creek. It take you up to one of the coolest overlooks around. You can see the lake, the Brushy Mountains and Grandfather Mountain. It'll have a long climb on one side and a long, flowing downhill on the other. This will give us our longest sustained climbs and downhills at the lake. If everyone comes out it'll get built a lot faster.

Jim

I think DD stands for needs a Designated Driver...

It's in the subject you tard... "Trail Day this Sunday, Nov 29".

In addition to ordering a big pile of tools, I think DunkleD might be blowin' the trail maintenance fund on a subscription to the Beer of the Month Club Club...

It's 4:20 somewhere...

Down Here in Wilkes,
